Music Video: Safe and Sound
The boys from Capital Cities encounter Belgian attack dogs, exotic dancers and benevolent Llamas with underbites in the brand new video to their hit single ‘Safe and Sound.’ Directed and conceived by the bent mind of Swedish director Jimmy Ahlander (Royksopp’s ‘Tricky Two’), the video was shot on location at the Zorthian Ranch, a bizarre world filled with junkyard art structures, tucked away at the foothills of the Angeles Crest Forest.

Peruvians have great taste in music, as evidenced by the fact that Capital Cities boasted a whopping 3 songs on 99.1fm Radio Doble Nueve’s year-end ‘most-played’ chart, including “I Sold My Bed, But Not My Stereo” at #104, “Patience Gets Us Nowhere Fast” at #77 and “Safe and Sound” at #9! Also, in Chile, Horizonte 103.3fm has placed “Safe and Sound” at #39 in their top 103.3 best songs of 2011. Thank you Santiago.

I Sold My Bed in Lima
Thank you to the people of Lima, Peru for welcoming us with such wide-open arms last November. We spent a week in your beautiful city and got a taste of your fine cuisine.
